Teacher Training Workshop, co-sponsored by: the Center for Middle Eastern and North African Studies, the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies, and the University of Michigan Museum of Art. This workshop will introduce 5th-12th grade teachers to the complex issues of Middle Eastern migration and religion in Latin America, helping them to contextualize it within both regions’ history and current events.
